An accomplished administrator and nurse,
Dr. Penque began her career as a staff nurse
at Syosset Hospital. She earned an R.N.
from Lenox Hill Hospital School of Nursing
and holds degrees from C.W. Post College
and Adelphi University, including a doctoral
degree in nursing from the University of Dr. Penque is the recipient of many honors and awards for her work. She has also authored a number of publications and research papers for the advancement of nursing and patient safety.
